Victoria Wells Wulsin, MD, DrPH, who has run twice for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, has been linked to unethical human experiments in which malaria infection was used as a treatment for HIV infection. These “experiments,” which were conducted in Africa, were either conceived, coordinated, devised, supervised, funded, or otherwise managed by Henry Heimlich, MD (popularizer of the “Heimlich Maneuver” for treating choking) and/or the Heimlich Institute in Cincinnati.
