We regret to announce the death of John Michael Nyutu of Erie Pennsylvania, USA.

He was the son of the late Samuel Ngigi Wagura and Rebecca Nyambura Ngigi. Husband of Jewelene Nyutu (U.S.A.)

Father of Becky Nyambura(U.S.A) and Sam Ngige (U.S.A). Brother of Elizabeth W. Ng’era (U.S.A), Rose Mumbi Njoroge, Patrick Nganga, David Gichia, Andrew Mambo (U.S.A), Mary Wanjiru, Jane Ngigi (U.S.A.) and Caroline Muthiora (U.S.A).

Brother in law of Joseph Ngera, Moses Njoroge,Wachira Kibiru, David Kinyanjui, Peter Muthiora,Cecelia Njeri, Lucy Kaheti, Perpetual Mambo. Uncle, cousin and friend to many.

John was a Captain with the Kenya Airforce before joing BF. Goodrich in Seattle,Washington (USA). He has been working with the LORD Corporation, Aerospace Product Support in Erie, Pennsylvania (USA).
Funeral service will be in Seattle, Washington. Burial and service dates will be announced later.
Friends and family are meeting daily at St. Andrews Church from 5.30-7.30 pm and at his family home in Ndeiya, Limuru for prayers. For information please call 0703411043.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Benjamin M. Wambugu.

The late Benjamin  Wambugu passed on to be with the Lord on Jan 21st 2012 at St. Lukes Hospital in St. Louis Missouri after a short illness.

Benjamin Mugo Wambugu was born on March 31st 1942. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Florence Mugo, his five children  Wambugu Mugo, Nicholas Mugo, Christine Mugo, Consolata Mugo and Lydia Mugo of St. Louis Missouri and several grandchildren including Loise Wanjeri and Stanley Muthinji of St. Louis MO.

The burrial will talk place at Ngarendari Village, Nanyuki, in Kenya.

Visitation/Wake will take place on Saturday January 28th between 4-6pm at Archway Memorial Chapel at 111 Taylor Rd. Hazelwood MO 63042.

Memorial/fund raising will take place at Christ Covenant Church, 1625 Washington Street, Florissant, MO 63033 on Sunday January 29th at 5pm.

The organizing committee would like to appeal to all Kenyans to financially support this family as they make plans to travel home to bury their loved one. On behalf of the Ogwa and Bonyo families we sadly announce the untimely death of Benter Anyango Ogwa; she passed away suddenly on Monday, January 2, 2012.

She leaves behind her dear children, Cassandra, Amos Jr, Dean and Seth. She is survived by her mother Mama Yukabet Ogwa, brothers Gordon Ogwa (Arlington TX) & Gilbert Ogwa; sisters Esther Ochieng, Monica Ouma and Pamela Owidi. Her father was the Late Elias Ogwa and her siblings the late Grace Adede and Lillian Wanga. She was Aunt to Faith Oketch, Christine Masese, Allan Omollo & Wendy Odhiambo (all of Arlington TX)

FUNERAL FUNDRAISER
The Ogwa & Bonyo families cordially invites you to a funeral fundraiser to assist with shipping Benter’s body to Kenya for burial together with other funeral related expenses. The fundraiser will be held THIS Saturday, January 21st 2012 at 8pm.

A Kenyan woman passes away in Boston MA

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear mom, Mrs. Grace Gathoni Gicheru also known as “Mama Gishe”. Our loving mom went to be with the Lord on the night of January 10 2012 at Brigham’s and Women Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Mrs. Grace Gicheru (Mama Gicheru) earlier resided in Atlanta,Georgia where she attended Beulah Heights Bible College and was also a member of Christ Harvesters Ministries International in Marietta, Georgia. She later relocated to Boston MA where she was staying with her children as she underwent treatment.

Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1994, and was in remission until 2008 when she started getting treatment at the North Shore Cancer Center, and later in 2008, at Dana Farber in Boston. Her prognosis was hopeful but in the fall of 2010, mom started developing complications that compromised her hopeful prognosis, this led to her being admitted at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston MA on Thursday January 5 2012. Mom’s condition quickly got worse and on Tuesday January 10 2012 she passed away peacefully. Mom is survived by her 5 children; Anthony, Anne, Sarah, Maggie and Sammy. Their spouses Hiram, Laurie and Saron. Grand Children; Lynnette, Emma-Grace, Ethan and Ella.

Mom was spiritual, loving, caring, considerate, genuine, and honest. We will keep her memory close to our hearts forever. May she rest in peace.

Alfred was the beloved son of Fredrick Kimeu Kitwa and Esther Ndunge Kimeu of Matetani, Kangundo, Kenya.  Husband to Genel Fraizer and father of Alfred Kioko Kimeu, Jr. of Buffalo, New York. Brother to Titus Nyamasyo Kimeu, Nelson Kitwa Kimeu, Bryan Mutinda Kimeu, Shadrack Mumo Kimeu and Gladys Katungwa Kimeu.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 17th at Greater Refuge Temple, 943 Jefferson Avenue, Buffalo, New York 14204 at 11.00 am to 12.00 noon.

Fellow Brethren,

We are sorrowful as we bring to you very sad news of sudden death.  Ms. Joyce Atieno “Nyamzee” Okello passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2011.  While her family anticipated the start of a “Happy New Year” this never came true since “Nyamzee” passed away peacefully in her sleep in Dallas, TX.

She leaves behind her dear children, Nick Adams Turey and Jackie Achieng Ougo, and her grandchildren of Arlington, Texas.  She was a mother-in- law to Mercy Arunga Toure. Joyce was a loving aunt to the Dale’s, Otondi’s, Ogweno’s, Osodo’s, Otieno’s, Okello’s, Ocholla’s, Bryan Yongo and Elisha Odhiambo among others.  She was sister to Hon. Sam Okello (Mayor of Kisumu City) among others.

Death has occurred of Benson Macharia Ndegwa,beloved Son of Pastor Joseph Macharia.and Esther Macharia of Mesa Arizona, He is a Brother to Ruth Nyambura Ndegwa, Nancy Magiri,Ndegwa, Esther Wanja Ndegwa , Benny Macharia Ndegwa, Grace Nyambura Ndegwa, and Matthew Njoroge Ndegwa.

Benson left behind his Wife Janet Wamaitha and a daughter Irene Wanjiku. Friends and well wishers are meeting daily at Pastor Macharia’s residence 8655 E Crescent Ave Mesa AZ 85208 starting at 6:00pm for Funeral Arrangement , There will be a Memorial service at Pastor Macharia’s Residence on Sunday Dec 18th at 300pm . Funeral will be announced later. It is the Lord who gave and He is the one who took away, May the Name of the Lord be glorified.

We are saddened to announce the saddening death of our beloved brother Kevin Nelson Shiramba, who died in a fatal car crash  on Sunday morning 11/27/2011.

Kevin was pronounced dead at 8.17am shortly after arriving at the Harrison Methodist Hospital in Euless, Texas due to  severe head and trauma injuries.

He was a student at Collin county college,and a twin brother to Denis Shiramba,a brother to Claris Shiramba and Sarah Atuulo.

We will miss his humor and jovial personality.May the almighty God rest his soul and may he rest in peace.

The family and friends are holding a fundraising for his burial and transportation arrangements,any contributions will be truly appreciated and may God help you help us in this time of need, the details are as follows.
